The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) recognize that economic growth, industrialization, infrastructure and access to energy provide the foundations of development. Elimination of poverty in all forms in the State is at the top of our agenda. This is reflected in our motto. "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas".

The Vision Document 2016-2025 for Assam given by the new Government which assumed office on 24th May 2016 to the people of the State prior to the Assembly Election is in tune with SDGs completely that we will be able to further innovate and improve the same in due course of time based on the lessons we learn in this process by putting the poorest man in the centre of the agenda and enabling everyone to participate in this journey.
